At Awaken Counselling Services we provide safe and confidential individual counselling in Kaiapoi using a blend of Gestalt Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy.

We also offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) psychotherapy. EMDR is an extensively researched, effective treatment method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders.

For a multitude of reasons, meeting face-to-face isn’t always an option, in which case we are able to also provide online and telephone counselling.

Awaken Counselling Services an EAP Provider for Telus, OCP and Instep. Funding is also available for WINZ counselling. Awaken Counselling also provides ACC Sensitive Claims counselling, which is fully funded, with no need for a referral.

Fees

$120 plus GST for Individual Counselling (50 minute session)

$220 plus GST for EMDR Psychotherapy (80 minute session)

Please note that a minimum of 48 hour’s notice must be given to avoid a full charge.
